Albert Namatjira was the first Australian Aboriginal to be recognised both nationally and internationally as an artist and the first Aboriginal to be issued an Australian passport.

Maori Television exposes the disturbing realities of the teenage daughters of Islamic immigrants in Europe this week. A 60-minute investigative documentary that delves behind-the-scenes to reveal an unsettling society where teenage girls routinely ‘disappear’.

DESERT TRACKS

Maori Television profiles a central Australian tourism business that grew out of pure indigenous ingenuity. The documentary tells the inspirational story of Desert Tracks – a tourism entity wholly-owned and operated by the Pitjantjatjatjara people of central Australia.

BLACK MAGIC

This Australian-made documentary looks at the creative use of sport made by the Noongar people of southwest Australia to advance their social standing and seize mana.

THE KOKODA TRAIL

An action-adventure drama produced by independent Australian production company Rising Sun Films that joins the famous trail – a 2000-year-old war path in Papua New Guinea (PNG) – over 96 kilometres of history.
