Glenda Roberts’ Sleeper Series is a collection of arresting images taken of people found sleeping in various parts of the world. The project was initially an unconscious response to witnessing several combat situations as a military and independent photographer between 1999 and 2004. The dead and those who are sleeping are sometimes indistinguishable. The Sleeper Series is Glenda’s instinctive and personal exposition of life, as it is shown in pure uninterrupted slumber.
