NZ Music Month 2006 Launch Airs On C4 Next Week
This year’s launch of NZ Music Month saw the Wellington Town Hall invaded by a bunch of enthusiastic youngsters keen to celebrate the start of the month, and more importantly rock out to live performances by The Bleeders, Deja Voodoo, and Cherry’s Gemstones. The massive free show, made possible by the support of Vodafone and the cooperation of the Wellington City Council, kickstarted NZ Music Month 2006 on a high.
Now those of you who didn’t make it to Welly can catch it on the telly. Our good friends at C4 are screening the gig as part of their extensive NZ Music Month programming throughout May. Check out their Homegrown Live Special on Tuesday May 16th at the earlier time of 8pm to see some of the rocking-est bands in the land mix it up with their Wellingtonian fans.
