Award Winning Blues Legend to Perform at SKYCITY Theatre

Award winning American Blues legend Charlie Musselwhite returns to New Zealand as part of his world tour in September, this time with his own musicians and special New Zealand guests including Midge Marsden and Bullfrog Rata. Charlie will perform at Auckland's SKYCITY Theatre on Sunday 24 September.

Having played with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, John Lee Hooker and Ben Harper, and with six Grammy nominations to his name, Charlie is firmly entrenched in musical history. His new album, Delta Hardware is described as being "full of raw, passionate music that walks the line between rock and electric country blues". Charlie is coming to New Zealand to promote Delta Hardware.

Charlie will be performing 12 New Zealand concerts as part of his world tour, finishing with his performance at SKYCITY. One of Charlie's requests was to invite old friend Midge Marsden on this tour as a special guest, so it was obvious call to include Midge's blues buddy Bullfrog Rata in to join the tour completing this historical package of Blues.
