Gay Ski Week star reaches new heights
Gay Ski Week NZ celebrity and Sydney-based drag artist, Ms Candy Box, couldn’t resist the chance to be strapped onto handsome NZONE Tandem Master Marcus Lundon, for a 15,000ft Stratosfear tandem skydive earlier today.
Ms Box said Marcus had taken her to new heights.
“I’ve previously skydived from 14,000ft, so the additional freefall made all the difference,” she said.
Ms Box said she had an absolute ball during her skydive and was blown away by the scenery.
“The first thing I noticed was how pristine the water in the lake looked. The colours were absolutely fantastic.”
Ms Box was supported by sister Gay Ski Week NZ entertainer, Ms Polly Petrie, who came along for the ride, but kept her feet firmly on the ground.
Gay Ski Week NZ climaxes tomorrow evening with the 42Below White Out party in Queenstown’s Dux de Lux.
