It’s time to slide your way to fame
Remember the days when your Dad would pull out the tarp on the steepest part of the lawn and let loose with the water and detergent – you’d slip around for hours on your backyard Zoom Slide. Well, The Rock would like to help you relive those memories at the 2nd Annual World Zoom Slide Champs.
On September 22nd, Hagley Park in Christchurch will be transformed into Zoom Slide heaven with a 100 metres of polythene, litres of water and dozens of bottles of detergent in order to find The Rock World Zoom Slide Champ!
The Rock’s Morning Rumble will be hosting the event from 7am – join Roger Farrelly, Simon Doull and Leah Panapa as they attempt to find the World’s best Zoom Slider.
Judging will be based a variety of skills including distance, flair and speed.
