Hot Music Show Ends on a High Note!

Hot urban music show COAST ends its third season on a high note with a line-up guaranteed to get you off the sofa and dancing around the house!

Screening on Thursday October 5 at 9.30 PM, COAST features reggae band Katchafire, rising hip-hopper PNC, soulful singer Anika Moa, and Hamilton crew 4 Corners with talented vocalist Tyra Hammond.

It’s a sizzling end to a series that’s seen some of the country’s best musicians performing in the COAST studio or chatting to hosts Brent Mio and Kara Rickard.

COAST has also interviewed international stars, including Ben Harper and Damien Marley, broadcast major events like the recent Milk and Honey and Che Fu concerts, and showcased new talent.

This season also saw COAST’s 100th episode, with sets by Aaradhna, Deceptikonz and Nesian Mystik.

“It’s been an awesome third series, with acts ranging from big overseas names to local up-and-coming singers,” says producer Summer Wharekawa. “To celebrate the finale, we’re going out the best way we know how – by playing some great music!”
