A Carnival Side Show Extravaganza, touched with a bit of Vaudevillian Medicine Show
Dr Praktiss is back to entertain once more, at The Arts Centre’s Great Hall 25, 26, 27 and 28 October 2006.
A collaboration of Christchurch-based international performers merge together, presenting something a little different in Christchurch’s theatrical calendar, a sidesplitting heart felt spectacular. Some of New Zealand and Australia’s top performers mix circus sideshow acts, comedy and physical theatre.
The evening will make you laugh at the silly, the sublime, yourself and your neighbour.
The story is of the charismatic Dr Praktiss who has made the single most thrilling pharmaceutical break through known to humankind. His loyal assistant Nurse Agnose, and a band of kaleidoscopic side show varmints, risks their lives to bring you the astonishing truths about the elixir.
