Jafa Mafia and Rebel Bass National Link Up Tour

Jafa Mafia and Rebel Bass National Link Up Tour

MEDIA RELEASE

No sound is safe as the Jafa Mafia and Rebel Bass take no prisoners, kill all crew, sound boy and selectors nationwide. Their upcoming five date National Link up Tour in November will bring the biggest rhythms, dubs and tunes from foundation to bashment with support from only those bravest to challenge the best soundsystems in Aotearoa.

DJ's Tobi and Captain Midnight of Jafa Mafia hail originally from Europe but now reside in Auckland. Meeting in 2003 on Tobi's weekly 95bFM radio show Thunder & Joy, Jafa Mafia was created to promote a sound that is still largely underground in Aotearoa.

Playing at some of the biggest summer festivals including Soundsplash 2005, Rhythm and Vines 2005/2006, and Splore 2006 the Jafa Mafia are now ready to takeover Aotearoa with their first nationwide tour.

The Mafia will be joined by Queenstown sound boy Rebel Bass who is also dedicated to promoting and playing modern reggae and dancehall in a soundsystem style. Together they represent the best from the north and the south Island.

The National Link Up Tour features up an coming vocalist Flowzion and Germini suppling visuals making it a dazzling multi media event. Support across the country includes Jugglin Crew, Dubhead, Dubwize and Yardwize.

Both Rebel Bass and Jafa Mafia's growing collection of original Dub plates insures their sound is uncompromising and fresh.
Be sure not to miss them during their nationwide takeover:
