The Thistle Hall $100 Art Sale
Thistle Hall Community Venue is very pleased to announce their annual $100 art sale. We are calling for artists to submit their works NOW to be sold on Friday December 15th at our annual $100 Art Sale.
This is the second $100 Art Sale Thistle Hall has organised, the first one in 2005, which was a fundraiser for our new gallery lighting raised over $3000 dollars.
This year we are doing a 50/50 split with the participating artists, and any money raised for Thistle Hall goes into re-instating our Arthur Street Gallery window to make the most of the new (motorway) bypass.
Our $100 Art Sale is cash and carry and is only open from 6-9pm on Friday December 15th. It's a time to celebrate the season with the people of Thistle Hall and Cuba Street, support local artists and do your Christmas shopping.
We are calling for submissions NOW, Artists can go to our website to download a registration form http://www.thistlehall.org.nz/news.htm or drop your art into our office at 293 Cuba Street (next to the gallery).
