Satellite Media is delighted to announce their win in Saturday night's prestigious Qantas TV Awards for Best Entertainment Programme.
'Dave Dobbyn: One night in Matata' took home the prize for the hotly contested category at TV's biggest night of the year at Auckland's Aotea Centre.
Shot in October 2005 and broadcast on TV One in December 2005 the one hour special shows Dave's visit to the flood ravaged community of Matata and sees him play two very special and intimate shows for the people most affected by the flood.
Satellite would like to thank everyone involved in the show with particular thanks to Dave Dobbyn and the people of Matata.
The programme was a labour of love for all involved and we are extremely proud to be recognised for that.
