H2o Xtream Celebrates Ten Years!
On
Sunday 10 December H2O Xtream opens it’s doors to the
public to celebrate ten years – ten years of being a major
regional attraction and a hugely successful aquatic leisure
facility.
Over 2.3 million people have visited the facility over the past ten years. Ten of thousands of people have visited Upper Hutt just to come to H2O Xtream and thousands of children have been taught to learn to swim.
The tenth anniversary celebrations start off with a mayoral morning tea for all the customers that have come regularly for the past ten years. With more than 100 people on the invite list it is set to be a great celebration.
All day there will be plenty of activities to keep all of the family entertained – bouncy castles in the car park, have a go Flippaball, Snorkelling and Kayaking and of course the waves, river ride and three slides. For the adults there is a free Hydroboics class and have a go Aqua Yoga & Water Therapy.
The Edge Roadrunners are here from midday until 2pm with heaps of prizes and giveaways. Throughout the day there will be plant room tours so you can see behind the scenes and find out how the waves work.
Children that are ten years old will get in for free and a group of ten people gets in for just $10! Slides will be free to everyone for the whole day.
