Brooke Fraser to tour NZ
Brooke Fraser makes a hugely anticipated return to New Zealand’s concert stage with the announcement of a main centre tour in April . Brooke will be flying in from her home in Sydney to tour her second album Albertine with a new band including American musicians who played on the Los Angeles album recording sessions.
Brooke is a New Zealand gem, launched onto our music scene three years ago with her debut album What To Do With Daylight, which went seven times platinum and saw her tour the country extensively as she broke records with a phenomenal four consecutive number one radio airplay hits.
Albertine has followed suit, already finding its place in the hearts of New Zealanders with triple platinum since its December release. Both the album and its first single “Deciphering Me” reached number one on the New Zealand charts.
A captivating and charming performer armed with a fantastic set of songs from two remarkable albums, Brooke’s Albertine tour is certain to be one of the hottest tickets of 2007. Tickets will be available from Ticketek and *Ticket Direct from Friday 16 Feb.
