TV3 To Screen Local Version Of Deal Or No Deal
TV3 is to screen a locally made version of the top-rating international game show Deal Or No Deal.
The show, which screens in 35 countries worldwide, will premiere on TV3 later this year.
Deal Or No Deal is an exciting game of
odds and chance where contestants are confronted with 26
sealed briefcases full of varying amounts of cash - ranging
from
1 cent to $200,000. Without knowing the amount in
each briefcase, the contestant picks one – theirs to keep,
if they choose - until its unsealing at game's end.
Kelly Martin, TV3’s Director of Programming, says the series will be an exciting addition to the primetime line-up.
“Deal Or No Deal is a hugely successful game show which attracts massive audiences around the world. We're excited to give New Zealanders the opportunity to share in the winnings by making a local version.”
Entries for contestants on Deal Or No Deal can be made through the URL tv3.co.nz/dealornodeal
Deal Or No Deal is being produced for TV3 by Imagination Television Ltd.
