Silver Ferns To Play Jamaica and
Australia in July
Netball New Zealand announced today
a two-test Fisher & Paykel Series versus Jamaica to be
played in New Zealand, followed by three tests against
Australia, one played in New Zealand and two played in
Australia.
The test schedule is:
Fisher & Paykel Series
Thursday 12 July, Silver Ferns v Jamaica, Christchurch
Saturday 14 July, Silver Ferns v Jamaica, Auckland
Fisher & Paykel Cup
Wednesday 18 July,
Silver Ferns v Australia, Auckland
International Test
Series
Saturday 21 July, Silver Ferns v Australia, venue

Silver Ferns coach Ruth Aitken said playing five
tests against top opposition was an important part of the
preparation for the Silver Ferns World Netball Championships
campaign.
“Australia and Jamaica always provide strong competition and it will be great to face them in July,” Aitken said.
Information on game times and ticketing will be released shortly. All Silver Ferns tests will be broadcast on ONE Sport.
Jamaica will play Australia in two tests before visiting New Zealand, with games on Thursday 5 July in Melbourne and Sunday 8 July in Sydney.
Venues will be confirmed by mid-March.
