Artists celebrate with exhibition
Over 440 artworks by 140 individual artists will be on exhibition and available to buy from Thursday 29 March in Wellington.
Four times a year Island Bay institution The Learning Connexion holds an exhibition of paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, jewellery, bronze casting, photography, video art and sculpture. The school has over 900 students, many working from around New Zealand and overseas. The exhibition celebrates all the work the students have put in for the term.
The exhibition is free and is held over four days only.
The opening night function begins at 7.30pm on Thursday 29 March, with last admittance at 9.30pm. Friday 30 March, Saturday 31 March and Sunday 1 April opening hours are 10am to 4pm.
Friday 30 March is also Open Day, providing an opportunity to find out more about studying at the school, or taking a weekend or short course.
The exhibition will be held at the school (in the old Erskine College building) at 31 Avon Street, Island Bay.
