Statement on White Wall/Black Hole
Please find below a statement from artist Stella Brennan, following subsequent media inquiry on the White Wall/Black Hole press release that was issued yesterday. I have also attached the original press release.

Artist Stella Brennan says to
the best of her knowledge the footage she used in White
Wall/Black Hole is from the ill-fated flight.
"I was told in good faith that the footage was from the flight. I believe it to be," she says.
"Whether or not it is, does not affect the nature of the art work.
"There is certainly no intention to deceive anyone," she says.
"If people have questions about it, they should have a look at the video and then make their judgement about it.
"It is very much a piece of art that is a memorial to those people on the flight and those who did the hard work to identify them (the bodies)."
Brennan says the public needs to "give the work a chance and engage with the artwork before they judge it".
"I have been careful about being respectful. The work has very powerful images."
