Jennifer Ward-Lealand President of NZ Actors Equity
NZ Actors Equity is proud to announce Jennifer Ward-Lealand as their newly elected President. She is integral to the NZ Performers Committee which represents members of Actors Equity. "I am delighted to be representing performers to be part of a strengthened and supported Actors’ Equity organisation. It seems that we are finally taking our place among the actors Unions around the world."
She is supported by Vice-Presidents Robert Tripe (Wellington), Tandi Wright and Jeff Szusterman (Auckland), and Union Organiser Teresa Brown. "We have an excellent NZ Performers Committee that is dedicated to improving standards and conditions, by working closely with other key players in our industry".
NZ Actors Equity are part of the Australian based Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance and are the first trans-Tasman alliance of performers Unions. "It is exciting to be part of this historical alliance which can only strengthen our industry by coordinating a strong voice amongst NZ performers" said Teresa Brown
