Right Royal Feeling for Lotto Players
Right Royal Feeling for Lotto Players From Hamilton & Hawera After Lotto First Division Wins
Two Lotto players, from Hamilton & Hawera, will feel just like a Queen (or King) tonight after each winning $500,000 on Lotto First Division this Queen's Birthday weekend, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
Tonight's winning tickets were purchased at Nawton Stationers & Lotto in Hamilton and at Hawera PAK'nSAVE.
Powerball was not struck and has jackpotted to an estimated $3 million for next week's draw.
Strike Four has also jackpotted tonight to an estimated $500,000 in next week's draw.
Tonight's other big winner was Eric Donn from Christchurch, who won $150,000 live on Lotto's Winning Wheel.
Eric and his partner Rosie enjoyed a luxury stay at the Duxton Hotel in Wellington, a shopping trip with a stylist for an outfit to wear on the show, and lunch with Lotto presenter Kyllee King-Turner, leading up to his winning spin.
Hamilton struck it lucky twice tonight with tonight's Winning Wheel ticket sold by Countdown Hamilton. The serial number is 642-44365568-20XX.
"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet," Mr McLeay says.
