Hartley Dominates Eurocup Test At Magny-Cours
Seventeen year old New Zealander Brendon Hartley recorded the quickest time overall while testing over the weekend at the Magny-Cours circuit in France.
The Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 teams were set for two days of action at the Nevers Magny-Cours Circuit, but the tricky weather conditions played havoc with the weekend’s schedule.
Fastest in the rain as well as fastest overall, Brendon says he enjoyed the famous F1 track but that it was very challenging with its super fast chicanes.
Despite racing recently with a cast after breaking his finger, Brendon remains second in the Eurocup championship and first in the Italian championship. Now that the cast which hindered him in the last two races has been removed it is expected he will dominate proceedings at the upcoming race in Spa, Belgium.
Brendon himself is confident and says it feels great to have the cast off.
