Powerball Struck For Second Time This June
Powerball Struck For Second Time This June, This Week in Christchurch
Powerball has been won tonight for the second time in June, this time by a Christchurch player who has won themselves $2.3 million, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
Tonight's winning Lotto Powerball ticket was purchased at Hornby Mall and Lotto in Christchurch and is worth a total of $2,306,601 with $1,806,601 from winning Powerball First Division and a further $500,000 from also winning Lotto First Division.
Powerball was won two weeks ago by a Devonport mother who took home a total of $4,603,538.
"Powerball is an unpredictable game which can be won at any time, June has been just such a month, with two winners in three weekends," says Mr McLeay.
Mr McLeay's advice for the big winner is to write their name and details on the back of their ticket and then get in touch with NZ Lotteries Wellington office on 04 802 7000.
Three other Lotto tickets have also won Lotto First Division tonight, winning $500,000 each. The winning tickets were sold at Manukau Pak'N'Save in Manukau, Melodys New World in Palmerston North and Countdown Kaiapoi in Canterbury.
Strike Four has also jackpotted tonight to an estimated $200,000 in next week's draw.
Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was sold by Devon Lotto 'N' Treats, New Plymouth. The serial number is 658-40606213-20XX.
