Just days until Auckland BarShow 07!

Speakers, Seminars, Parties, Comps and more

The premium annual event for the bar and hospitality industry will again be held at the picturesque Alinghi Base at Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour next week on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 July. Auckland BarShow, the number one event for the business of bars, is again expected to attract more than 3000 visitors with an enlarged show space, an incredible line-up of exhibitors, a jam-packed schedule of seminars, the Bartender Magazine Bartender of the Year Competition sponsored by Bombay Sapphire and of course, the post show networking events including the New Zealand Bartender Magazine Bar Awards.

Auckland BarShow 07 will play host to a wide array of exhibitors representing all areas of the industry. The two day event allows bar professionals to meet existing and potential suppliers in a premier harbourside location. Auckland BarShow also offers attendees the opportunity to sample new products from leading brands and meet industry innovators from around the country.

for bartenders who are keen to sharpen up their skills, Auckland BarShow 07 has launched the new ‘bar training’ theatre hosted by award-winning international bartender Marco Faraone and Australasian Flair Champion Leeroy Petersen. The ‘bar talks & bar tastings’ and ‘bar mixology’ will showcase an even broader range of subjects, presented by some of the world’s leading authorities in bar culture. The UK’s Mr Angus Winchester has been brought back by popular demand again this year by hosting a series of talks and mixology demonstrations; including: ‘The Martini Academy’- an in-depth look at three ounces of gin; ‘Eat, Drink and Be Mary’- examining the Bloody Mary in all her incarnations; and ‘Juleps Y’all’ - discussing the world’s pre-eminent cocktail, the Mint Julep.
