Nelson Arts Festival
Nelson Arts Festival
The Nelson Arts Festival (Oct 11-22) promises a feast of theatre, sculpture, music, dance and poetry, launched with 4000 children thronging the city streets in the Port Nelson Masked Parade. Festival highlights include Strange Resting Places, the Topp Twins, Tower Voices, the Sharon Shannon Band, the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra and fresh from the milongas of Buenos Aires, Corporacion Tango. All this in wonderful Nelson with its sunshine, wine, artists, markets and seafood.
We have hi-res images of this year's shows, last year's Masked Parade and of our logo featuring the Nelson Lighthouse. Attached is our latest newsletter - please let me know if you would like to get this regularly (monthly stepping up to fortnightly from Sept)
