NZ's very own musical super-group for kids, The Funky Monkeys, are excited to announce release of their brand new DVD.
Neil, Joe and Chris Monkey and their Dog Dizzy, will Release their brand new DVD in a fun hour of musical adventures at the Founders Theatre in Hamilton this satur-day 28th July !
Children of all ages will enjoy the DVD “Jungle Party” which is available at The Warehouse or from The Funky Monkeys Website. Total DVD run time is 47 mins.
Since 2003 talented performers Joe, Chris, Neil and their 6ft tall Dog, Dizzy have been dedicated to bringing fun and excitement to children with their high energy shows. Based in Hamilton, the three Funky Monkeys have been performing at a wide range of events for tens of thousands of children every year throughout the country.
Primary school teacher and performer, Chris Lam Sam also known as Chris Monkey says the shows have been a hit around the nation. "We grew up in an era when children's entertainment was safe and fun, our show reflects that, which is probably why our entertainment is proving so popular with kids and parents."
Behind the scenes, the TFM performers and staff are all highly experienced and qualified. After years of community youth work, primary school teaching, compos-ing, lecturing, and touring the world in other bands, Joe, Chris and Neil Monkey have found that making TFM into a musical super-group for kids has been their most exciting work yet.
