In August 2005, on a rainy Sunday afternoon at Te Whaea, to the melodic strains of Billy Idol's Hot In The City, the Real Hot Bitches dance troupe was born. For 2 years the Bitches have made their bodies talk, honing themselves into lyrca-clad dance machines who are not afraid to get physical on the streets of Wellington!
To celebrate 2 years of sweat-band-infused passion on the dance floor, the RHBs will be partying and performing at The Mighty Mighty on Friday night. Joining them will be another iconic Wellington dance group, The Leisure Steppers; the Wellington Ukulele Orchestra; and spinning out the turntable magic will be the legendary DJ Lollipop, direct from the Foxton Hotel in Foxton.
Punters should expect a wild night of choreographic mayhem, party games, jazzercise, spot prizes and all 3 Forbidden Dances!
