Bird of the Year 2007 - Voting is now open!

Tweet, tweet, twitter, chirp – yes, that’s the sound of New Zealand’s native birds warming up for Forest & Bird’s Bird of the Year 2007 poll.

Voting in Bird of the Year opens today at http://www.forestandbird.org.nz.

Last year the fantail was declared New Zealand’s favourite bird – who will take top honours this time? The tui? The kereru? Perhaps our national icon, the kiwi?
