Charity - music to the ears of Wellington composer
3 October 2007
Charity is music to the ears of Wellington composer
Award winning Wellington musician Stephen Gallagher has composed the music that will accompany Plunket’s Annual Appeal TV ad this year.
Gallagher's music will underscore the television campaign for the 2007 Plunket Annual Appeal, which runs from the 13th to the 21st of October.
"Having been a Plunket baby myself, I jumped at the chance to donate my time to Plunket's Appeal.” says Stephen, " I initially offered to go door knocking and collecting for Plunket but then a friend asked to me to write music for the 2007 Plunket Annual Appeal TV commercial instead. It's an honour to be involved with such an iconic New Zealand organisation. To donate my time writing music for Plunket is a pleasure".
You can donate to Plunket’s Annual Appeal by visiting www.plunket.org.nz, texting ‘plunket’ to 5500 (to donate $3) or visiting any ANZ branch.
