The 2007 Bed to Air for world peace event was held in the shop front of iconic fashion store Rex Royale, where a giant bed was erected some of Wellington’s most recognisable musicians put in appearances and the event got support from organisations such as Oxfam and Amnesty International. The Bed to Air was broadcast all day on Radio Active 89FM.
The event was organised by radio DJ Paul ‘Redbird Jr’ Shelley to help highlight the global peace movement and raise awareness for charities and organisations that work to help others
