Cinderella a Soaring Success – Next Stop, China

The Royal New Zealand Ballet’s recent production of Cinderella has soared into the record books.
Choreographed by Christopher Hampson, Cinderella has become the RNZB’s most successful production to date – watched by nearly 44,000 people.
The Lion Foundation Season of Cinderella performed to packed houses in Wellington, Invercargill, Dunedin, Christchurch, Palmerston North, Hastings, Hamilton and Auckland.
The Royal New Zealand Ballet are now preparing for a three-city tour of China next month where they will perform Cinderella and the triple bill Trinity featuring the acclaimed works Esquisses (Christopher Hampson), Banderillero (Javier De Frutos) and Equilibrium (Cameron McMillan).
The Company’s first stop will be three performances at the Shanghai International Arts Festival. The Company will then perform in Suzhou and Beijing.
The China tour dates are 10 – 26 November.
