Special Editions Of One News And Close Up Commemorate The Life Of Sir Edmund Hillary
A special edition of Close Up will follow ONE News at 6pm this evening, to commemorate the life of Sir Edmund Hillary, the great adventurer and philanthropist who passed away today aged 88 years.
Presented by Mark Sainsbury, a personal friend of Sir Edmund, the special edition of Close Up replaces scheduled programming.
ONE News will update the news throughout the afternoon on TV ONE and at tvnz.co.nz, with full coverage tonight on ONE News at 6pm and Close Up.
At 7.30pm the documentary Hillary on Everest will screen on TV ONE.
