Vincent Duncans’ paintings are full of sunshine. In his world the water is always glittering and the sailboats are swinging through a perfect day. The houses are painted in bold and bright cheerful colours, and the paint is deliciously thick.
He is Wellington’s very own expressionist painter who is not afraid to really paint with lots of the glorious stuff and use it in colours which paint our beautiful city in the best light.
A full time practising artist, Vincent has been delighting art buyers in Wellington and far beyond for many years. In this show we have new large scale works, and also a fine selection of smaller works.
This January we are proud to showcase another collection of his work to cheer us all through January. Come and celebrate a new year with us on Thursday 24th Jan at 5.30pm.
