Join Comedy pioneer Paul Horan (Stickmen, Rove) for a half day workshop on the ever changing face of comedy in Television and New Media

Paul Horan was one of the founders of the Classic Comedy Club in Auckland and co-founder of the New Zealand Comedy Festival. Now based in Melbourne, Paul has worked as a producer, writer and script consultant for several Australian comedy productions including Rove, Real Stories and The Mansion.

In his workshop, Paul will discuss television comedy formats that are growing in demand - including the long form narrative series. Also, how the internet is rapidly becoming the first medium of choice amongst comedy writers and the impact that is having on mainstream broadcasters. Paul will show a selection of clips and provide handouts including Australian industry contacts.
