Get Smart And Pick Up Your Tickets To “The Dark Knight” Early

9 July 2008 – Eager fans awaiting the release of THE DARK KNIGHT on July 24th will be able to pre-purchase their tickets, Roadshow Film Distributors announced today.

Early ticket sales, to coincide with the release of GET SMART, will be available from all major cinemas from tomorrow, Thursday 10 July.

THE DARK KNIGHT, starring Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as the Joker, is the follow-up to the action hit BATMAN BEGINS.

In THE DARK KNIGHT, Batman raises the stakes on his war on organised crime in Gotham City. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) Batman will battle a new arch villain in The Joker, a criminal mastermind who is unleashing a reign of chaos on the terrified citizens of Gotham.

Predicted to be the smash hit of the blockbuster season, THE DARK KNIGHT will make it’s US debut on July 17th, and New Zealand audiences will be able to enjoy from July 24th.

Pre sales of the tickets will be available at the following cinema chains from the 10th:
