Madame Hawke
Spring/Summer 08
Inspired by structural tailoring, the latest collection from Madame Hawke juxtaposes sharp silhouettes with voluminous layers, evoking a tough yet pretty mood.
The season’s muse exudes a sense of quirky confidence mixing and matching pieces to reflect her mood - dressing for herself, not her surroundings. There’s a touch of suburban glamour with tuxedos and cupcakes, high heels and pink lemonade.
The pastel palette contrasts with raw black silks and sheer chiffon. When paired together these textures strongly express the mood of the collection - hard against soft, light with dark. Key pieces in the collection are the black cropped Tuxedo Jacket and the Explosion dress with its washed out floral print and black edging.
Madame Hawke is available in store now.
