Extra Olympics Coverage On TV One This Sunday
TV ONE's coverage of the Beijing Olympics will start two hours early this Sunday, 17 August. The special 9am start will allow TVNZ to screen highlights of the large number of New Zealanders contesting medals during Saturday night, and in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Strong New Zealand medal prospects are competing in Track & Field, Rowing, and Cycling, on what Kiwi sports fans are hoping will be a 'Super Saturday.' The schedule change affects regular Sunday morning programmes My God, Attitude, and Agenda, all of which will return the following weekend.
