Gallagher Great Race Live Webcast
New Zealand’s equivalent of the Boat Race – the Gallagher Great Race – takes place on Sunday 7th September 2pm (NZ time). A live web cast will bring the race to rowing enthusiasts all over the world.
Cambridge University – the only crew to have ever defeated the University of Waikato in the men’s race – return aiming for another victory, whilst in the women’s race Sydney University take on the home crew.
University of Waikato includes Olympic bronze medallist Nathan Twaddle and Under 23 world champion Graham Oberlin-Brown, while New Zealand Olympic sculler Emma Twigg features in the women’s race.
