“I have been playing drums for almost fifteen years and during that time I’ve broken many sticks, skins, knuckles, cymbals and even a couple of drums.
Over the past couple of years I have been playing in a Hamilton based metal band called World War Four and the attrition rate of my gear has doubled. I began collecting my destroyed skins and cymbals and painting on them.
After a particularly
rocking show, someone said I was probably the hardest hitter
they had seen. I shook my head as it is a known fact that
Terry from M.S.U is the hardest hitter in Hamilton. Terry
doesn’t paint. I do.”
