New Zealand Alpine Club to host NZ’s own mountain film festival
The Auckland Section of the New Zealand Alpine Club is to host the NZ Mountain Film Festival which began in Wanaka six years ago.

The programme includes an exhilarating re-enactment of the very first Coast to Coast. Two adventurous Kiwis drag, lug and paddle heavy wooden canoes from west to east duplicating a journey first made in 1899.
