Top Gear At Home On Prime In New Zealand

Cannes / Sydney: BBC Worldwide has renewed a deal with Prime Television New Zealand that will see the upcoming series of multi award-winning Top Gear remain with the channel.

New Zealand audiences have come to think of Prime as the home of Top Gear since the program first went to air in 2004. Top Gear has gone on to become one of the draw cards at the heart of Prime’s schedule.

Robyn Campbell, Sales Manager New Zealand, commented “Prime has made Top Gear the most recognised motoring entertainment brand in New Zealand, and has contributed to its massive global success. We couldn’t be happier that Top Gear will remain with Prime.”

Top Gear is BBC Two’s most consistently watched program and regularly attracts UK audiences of more than seven million people. Globally, it has reached audiences of over 500 million in more than 120 countries.

Top Gear Series 11 is currently airing on Prime Television on Sunday at 7.30pm.
