The Rhombus
tour of duty hits Wellington in late
November for a hometown celebration of the release of their
new self-titled album.
Rhombus play The Loaded Hog on Saturday 27 November armed with their trademark sound, an atom smashing fusion of South Pacific dub n’ bass, hip-hop, soul, funk, and roots-reggae,
Part of a seven week tour of the country and Australia, Rhombus will deliver a high energy showcase of tunes from their third full-length album which was released to critical acclaim in October.
Led by Rhombus dub scientists Thomas Voyce on keys and Simon Rycroft in the engine room and dub mix, will the Rhombus feature stalwart Rhombus vocalists MC Antsman, MC Mana, Raashi Malik and Lisa Tomlins, plus introducing guitarist Mr Peter Hill.
Special guest for the Wellington show is A Hori Buzz featuring Aaron Tokona, plus DJ support on the decks and bootlegs from Koa & Choice1.
