The 2008 NZ Comedy Guild Awards were handed out last night in a special ceremony at The Classic Comedy Club in Auckland, hosted by Jeremy Elwood.

The 2008 recipients reflect a wide range of experience and style, with several new faces included in the winners list, alongside some regular award winners.
