Teen Author on a Mission

Teen Author on a Mission

It's been only two days since teenage author Eva-Maria came back to New Zealand. She spent New Years at the Australian Woodford Folk Festival, to which she was invited to and flown over to speak and hold workshops about bridging the generation gap from her young perspective. Her presentations were a great success with parents and professionals from many walks of life.

Only 18, 2009 is going to prove to be a busy year for Eva-Maria, with her mission of improving one million adult-teenager relationships around the world through book sales, coaching, workshops, and other projects.

Her second book – a sequel to her first bestseller 'You Shut Up!' will be coming out mid 2009. Before then, Eva-Maria is determined to touch even more lives through her experience and expertise, and move closer to her mission goal.

"My entire life, I've just wanted to help where I'm needed. It just turns out I can really be of help to adults who want to understand teenagers," says world's first teen author writing about building better relationships between adults and teenagers.

Although she promises to not talk on all teenagers' behalf, she most certainly has done her bit, and is internationally recognized as somewhat extraordinary in getting the messages coming from the teenager's side about living in harmony on Earth.

Even though it is only beginning of the year Eva-Maria is busy finalizing details of her public speaking engagements across NZ. Her passionate message to adults and teenagers is: "2009 is going to be amazing. It's been absolutely positively wonderful so far. And I'm looking forward to being even more involved with youth in projects this year. Because despite of this supposed financial crisis, and the Earth's ecology systems going down, I truly believe this is the year when teenagers will step up, and prove to the world that we can do whatever we need to. When I think about it, teenagers really can find amazing solutions and they have all this energy to go through with what needs to be done. We just need someone to let us to apply it to the real world. Simply tell us what needs to be done or what's even impossible . From there we can figure anything out. Teenager's creativity and energy are invaluable at these times of need. TRUST YOUR FUTURE!"
