Teen Author Has Successful Trip

18 year old author Eva-Maria had a successful trip to Auckland last week. She started her week on Monday with an appearance on the Breakfast Show talking about further plans this year with University, and writing her second book. In the evening she spoke at the Milford Rotary Group which drew great feedback from members, and once again showed her calling to public speaking.

The Rotary's Bulletin after the speech cites:

"Guest Speaker Eva-Maria, was introduced by John Spooner.  Eva-Maria is 18 years of age, and has already written a book titled "You Shut Up" on her subject.  She has been in New Zealand from New Siberia for the past 12 years, and is very articulate and confident.  Her aim is to improve teenager / adult relationships.  Eva-Maria had mentor training at the tender age of 13, and believes both parties in teenager / adult conflicts should deal with the small problems in their relationships as they arise.  They should not be left to fester.  Responsibilities should be made clear to teenagers by parents, and win/win solutions sought.

Eva-Maria cited a quote from Socrates to show adult views of the behaviour of teenagers has not changed in thousands of years, and said "teenagers are apprentices in life"."

She took the next couple of days to meet with CanTeen – her chosen charity to which she has chosen to donate part of book profits to, and a visit to Waiheke Island which she visits every time she is in Auckland to meet friends and get updated on youth projects, and meet new people.

The trip was a huge success, with more people covered and taking action and talking about Eva-Maria's mission to help improve one million adult-teenager relationships around the world!
