Family Planning And Durex Prepare Students For Ooohh Week

As the start of the University semester draws near, thousands of first year tertiary students are gearing themselves up for Orientation Week.

Durex and Family Planning want students to stay safe, so health promoters will be out on over 20 tertiary campuses nationwide during “O” Week with packs containing an informative booklet as well as Durex products.

The packs contain Durex condoms and lube as well as information about the Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP) and local sexual health services.

David Rae, Country Manager SSL NZ, would like to wish students across the country a fantastic “O” Week.

“At Durex we believe in playing it safe while having fun, so we would encourage students throughout the country to be responsible. We’re happy to help students throughout the country do just that.”

Frances Bird, Family Planning Director Health Promotion, says that the information packs are a reminder to students to think ahead about what they do and don’t want to get up to during O Week and to and take responsibility for keeping themselves safe if drinking.

Students can check out www.durexcompetition.co.nz for information on how they can win a range of prizes.
