A new season of “In
Conversation with Noel Cheer” starts on Triangle and
Stratos Television next week.
Each week for the past two years “In Conversation with Noel Cheer” has delivered stimulating and thought-provoking interviews. More than 80 half-hour interviews have been broadcast on topics ranging from terrorism to wetlands, from euthanasia to education and from linguistics to libertarianism. Guests have included the Governor General, Ken Douglas, Celia Lashlie and Paramhas Swami Maheshwarananda.
The new season launches on March 3 (March 5 on Stratos) with an interview with Chief Censor Bill Hastings. Following at weekly intervals the guests will be Dr Keith Maslin, an eye specialist, Heather Henare, CEO of Women’s Refuge and Vanisa Dhiru of Trade Aid.
“In Conversation with Noel Cheer” is broadcast on Tuesday evenings on Triangle Television Wellington and on TelstraSaturn Cable (Channel 50) in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch at 8:00pm. Triangle Television Auckland broadcast time is 8:30pm Tuesdays. Also broadcast nationally on Stratos at 9:30pm on Thursdays on the satellite platforms Freeview (Channel 21) and Sky Digital (Channel 89).
