Masterton ‘s Flight of the Conchords Show Sells Out in Ninety-One Minutes
Local people have snapped up the opportunity to see Flight of the Conchords Grammy award winning comedy duo give a one off performance on home-turf in Masterton ,Wairarapa, next week. The 1600 tickets to the event sold out in ninety-one minutes.
Some fans slept on the streets to make sure they were first in the queue to buy the much coveted tickets. Local boy Jemaine Clement thrilled local fans with his decision to play a small venue in his home town, a fundraiser for his old school Makoura College. Tickets were offered in advance of today’s sales to students of the college.
Flight of the Conchords will play the Masterton Genesis Energy Recreation Centre on Tuesday 31st March at 8pm. Seats will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Plans to offer remaining tickets for telephone sales tomorrow will not now be necessary.
