Musically - Aussies show us how ?
The “Grassroots” union based choir from Tasmania will attempt to show Kiwi unionists and friends at the “Bodega” on Thursday April 30th, how choral singing can be both entertaining and informative.
Wellington’s own
“Choir Choir Pants on Fire”, Wellington union members
and interested members of the public, will as they celebrate
the lead up to May Day over a few pints, be ‘instructed’
in Solidarity, Hilarity,
and Musicality from 7:00 p.m.
Entry is by Koha, so maybe the Aussies will learn about Kiwi
hospitality.
The Aussies say: “Our main aim is to keep
alive the great songs of the union tradition but to do so
with an emphasis on entertainment and sense of fun”
Grassroots Choir formed May Day 2001
and still going
