Mum’s The Word!
Media Release 24 April 2009
Mum’s The Word!
Once a year our mums are acknowledged for everything they have done for us – and a great way to show your appreciation this year is buying them a chance to win a fantastic car with Lotto’s exciting new Mother’s Day promotion, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
This year, for the first time ever, there are two luxury cars up for grabs and we’re letting Mum choose which one she wants – it’s a terrific toss up between a classic Ford Mustang GT Hardtop Coupe with all the mod-cons and plenty of room for shopping – or kids! Or the Mercedes Benz SLK350 Roadster – an ultra modern, luxury convertible that will turn heads wherever you, or your mum, goes.
There’s also a third option available to choose – a cash prize of $120,000 – which would make any mother’s day!
“What amazing prizes – and don’t forget there’s also the chance of winning the growing Powerball jackpot too!” says Mr McLeay.
“Of course, this promotion isn’t just for mums – everyone who buys a Triple Dip over the two week period will be in to win too.”
Which car do you think your Mum would choose? What would you choose?
There are also high quality gift-packs available at retail outlets offering a range of products, including Lotto, Instant Kiwi and Big Wednesday tickets, at a range of prices.
All players who purchase a Triple Dip ticket between Sunday 26 April 2009 and 7pm, Saturday 9 May 2009 will be in with the chance to win one of these 10 fantastic prizes.
Every player who purchases a Triple Dip during the two week promotion period will be issued with a special promotion voucher with a unique number. The 10 winning voucher numbers will be drawn on Saturday 09 May 2009. Results will be available after 9pm at www.mylotto.co.nz.
