Hawko $11.00 for world’s sexiest Fox hunt

MEDIA RELEASE
APR 23, 2009

Hawko $11.00 for world’s sexiest Fox hunt … as Ian Smith firms for Gold Logie!

Aussie darling and former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins might look supreme value at $11.00 with bookmaker Centrebet to be named FHM’s sexiest woman on the planet in 2009, but punters seem united that 22-year-old acting beauty Megan Fox will win again, already backing her from $4.00 favourite into $3.50!

Centrebet media chief Neil Evans said already nearly several thousand dollars had arrived, with most of it on Fox! “She’s the one, and the rightful favourite, according to the punters,” Evans said. “They had no hesitation in taking the opening price, and she’s in to $3.50 in a flash to make it back-to-back sexy titles.

Evans said Jessica Alba was the next best-backed, with only a couple of hundred dollars invested on Hawkins so far!

Meanwhile, Neighbours veteran Ian Smith has been heavily backed from $9.00 down to $3.00 with Centrebet to win the Gold Logie. The acting veteran who brought the life of Harold Bishop to the small screen in the award-winning Aussie soap is closing in on Packed to the Rafters’ Rebecca Gibney who has eased from an opening $1.80 out to $2.25!

“One punter has staked around $1,000.00 across three separate wagers on Smith! Gibney’s once strong grip on the Gold Logie now looks a little shaky!”
