Ugly Kids Burn the Bush!
Ugly Kids Burn the Bush!
It’s the final week of the Comedy festival at BATS Theatre this week and to wrap up the laugh out loud season we have an awesome line up of shows for you to pick from.
Opening tomorrow night at 6.30pm is The Burn, from the makers of last year’s festival hit and Best Newcomers nominees Nic Sampson and Joseph Moore. This a “tightly , scripted, hysterically depicted comic drama” Theatreview. Come and spend a night at Colin’s Rentals – The only DVD store in Hell. The website to Colin’s rentals will be launching tonight at 9.00pm! You’ll never leave. Check out the review from their Auckland season here.
Also opening tomorrow night is A Song For the Ugly Kids at 9.30pm. Yes! That show that everyone is talking about on Theatreview right now. Was that even a review? From the Makers of Blinkers and Spurs this show comes fresh from its Auckland season. “Silly, energetic…and above all very funny” Michael Hurst. “I loved it so much I wanted to lick their faces and have them poo in my mouth” Madeleine Sami. Check out the review and the discussions that follow. This is one show you don't want to miss.
Opening on Thursday at 8pm is U Got Bush. Randa Maz and Dr Phil 'Phantittytastic'; Celeste and Barry, New Zealand's first Organic Porn pioneers; and try your luck at Speed Mating for Native Girls.Three shows in one. That’s right baby. This one is not just for the ladies, this hilarious comedy romp features a massive cast, some razor sharp wit and some friggin’ funny as one-liners.
